Calor vs Frío. 
Aquí os dejo unos tips para saber cuando aplicar frio y para cuando aplicar calor.
De la aplicación de calor podemos saber que tiene mejoras a nivel: circulatorio: produciendo una vasodilatación, y con ello un amuento del flujo sanguineo. con la mejora de la circulación tambien se produce un efecto analgésico (reduciendo el dolor), se reduce la sintesis de colágeno y aumenta la producción de elastina (proteina que proporciona elasticidad al tejido). neuromuscular: si es prolongado, dará un efecto analgesico. De la aplicación de frío podemos saber que: circulatorio: produce efecto opuesto al calor (vasoconstricción), la presion arterial disminuye, al igual que la frecuencia cardiaca y el metabolismo. neuromuscular: efecto analgésico.

Had to stop a few times 🤢 didn’t feel so well. Guess my body was already getting used to the cooler running weather 🤷‍️ mile 4 was definitely the hardest and slowest.

For the last few days I’ve not felt great, I’m not ill, but I’m I’m not at my best. I worked out Thursday, Friday I could not muster the strength to get to the gym.⁣

My food this week has ranged from average to not great.⁣

But the thing is, we will all have days / weeks like this, if I have learnt anything, it’s that “Progress is not linear” ⁣

Elhamdulelah ... All Glory goes to Allah. Today marks a new achievement in my journey. I participated in the first Aquathlon Event in my life @azhaainsokhna and was able to complete the Sprint Distance in Azha Endurance Festival which is 750 meters swim in the Red sea + 5 kms run successively. I faced some hardships in the sea on the first 150 meters i had a kind of panic attack and started askin myself why would i throw myself in this hell  but God helped me to break through my fears and reach the finish line in 20 mins which is good time for the first attempt. Then with no rest headed to the 5 kms run course and finished it in approx. 30 mins. 
Thanks to everyone helped me get this Medal, first Medal since 2005 in Judo. Came back after 14 years to say hi  it’s possible with faith, discipline, hard work and determination.

Figured I would leave this here for those of you who ask me. Working out is important but MOST important is better eating. Definitely had to change how and when I eat to get where I am right now. I love food and I love to eat a lot. Spreading it out in small portions throughout the day has helped this last year. Knowing my calorie intake number to gain, lose, or maintain also helps. I don’t do macros, it confuses me. I don’t do keto, I like carbs too much. I eat the foods I want every day. 
The system that helped me were the 21 Day Fix food containers from Beachbody. This is what works for me. I hope you find what works for you.

1 year difference: core & abs 

On both sides I ate about 1400 calories each day (calorie deficit) to lose stubborn body fat, but during this year I made some changes concerning my training.

Left side (07/2018): lots of cardio, probably 3-4 times a week, 5 lifting sessions (2 lower body, 2 upper body, 1 full body session), not training core or abs at all!

Right side (07/2019): no cardio at all or once per week, 6 lifting sessions (3 lower body, 2 upper body (except back), 1 isolated arm day/rear delts), training core and abs 3 times per week.

Between those diets I made a small bulk: 11/2018 - 03/2019 which allowed me to gain more overall muscle mass
