55 and 56/100. Freestyle Flow and LIT Cardio. I’m finding my life right now after that cardio session! You would think I would be better at it and in better shape, but it still kills me every time!  Those run jumps, yeah can’t do them. I seriously suck at them. And I’m sure I look absolutely ridiculous doing them! Oh well....it’s Saturday! Get your sweat on and then relax....or whatever you do! Me, I have chores 🤷‍️

Sometimes you need a little bit of a reboot with your nutrition when you have gone a little too much off track. 
Usually once or twice a year, I feel the need to do this cleanse to help get myself back on track. 
3 days to get my feeling less bloated, getting better sleep, feeling like new, and breaking those sugar habits.

This journey has been so hard- the journey to really loving myself! I felt purdy so I took a photo. What you dont see is the way I judge myself when my scale doesnt move an ounce! Or how some days, I just want to lay I'm bed and cry constantly because depression is no joke y'all. But no matter what, I get up EVERY  SINGLE  DAY  and I workout. Because that time is for ME! my journey is just beginning. I only started 42 days ago when I just said yes and jumped in head first into this program! Double workouts done. My first workout was exhausting, lower body but definitely burned out my shoulders too. Went to do my second workout and my pre downloaded disappeared . Tried using WiFi  and wouldn’t load, even tried to stream on data. NOTHING ! So I skipped it till another day and jumped to meltcon. Definitely wasn’t ready for that. My body was sore for sure but at least I got a great workout in.

Workout 4. Total Body Badass. Whew. I didn't want to do it, but just sitting around being sad about Bitty wasn't working either. It's nice I can do this at home. No way would I have gone to a gym today. But a trip to The Whine Cellar was easy.

There are good days and bad days... All sorts of feels - somedays my depression is so bad it feels like its wrapping its sticky fingers around my throat. 
I dont allow myself to stay in this mental trap very much anymore (although let's be real, it happens) 
This week was tougher then normal but I was able to reflect a bit about where I am now mentally VS were I was even 6 months ago. 
I started exercising because I was feeling trapped in my own mind and body - exercise has turned into this amazing way for me to handle my anxiety and has replaced unhealthy habits with healthy ones. 
We all owe it to ourselves to give our bodies, these vehicles that go and go for us a little love back!!! Kicking off a new challenge group October 1st !!

Whatever you call it .. Whatever the program.. Whatever the modality .. It is sooo much more than just looking good .. selling a product.. Pushing your body to upper limits for just 10-20 minutes a day WILL effect YOU in other areas of your life .. So YOU do NOT have physical fitness goals.. YOU might have personal career goals in the corporate world or entrepreneurship or wherever you are... Taking care of your Physical Body is just a small part of that journey .. When you are pushing your body in a workout beyond what you thought possible it gives you the confidence to push through or take on  other challenges that will help you reach that goal or take the next step toward it

 Saturday is usually my rest day, and I have not been feeling my best this week (battling a cold), but because I skipped a few workouts due to a crazy schedule, I had to make up for it!

 That's what I love about this program and working out from home! I can create my own schedule. And since the workouts are always less than 30 minutes, I can double up if necessary, which I have done the past few days. I did 2 on Thursday, 2 on Friday, 1 today, and I'll do 2 tomorrow!

I pray that God gives us the wisdom we need to be a guiding light for you, as you grow and learn all about life. It helps me tremendously with my issues that stem from PTSD, helps me be a better mother, wife, daughter, friend and overall just a better person. The physical changes for me are just icing on the cake. Today’s workout of #morningmeltdown100 was a yoga session called #freeflow  My favorite part was the 100 second challenge at the end where Jericho instructed us to lay flat, close our eyes and  remain silent and not let our mind wander or be distracted. Well, clearly I lost that challenge because my little yoga partner Hazel Marie felt challenged to make me do just the opposite. I was saying today how good I feel after eating good, healthy foods and How I have energy still throughout the day!!! Its the same way with stress for me. 
Stress can cloud my judgement, I think way too much and sometimes feel like I'm never gonna be able to overcome things.  Then I workout.  And NO JOKE, I'm clear headed, think about small goals to get me towards my big goals and I just feel weight lifted off my shoulders 
Some days are easier than others but days like today, I needed a good sweat session!!!

Then when we got home,  we had a bee keeper come out to help us remove a HUGE hive... pics from that after my workout.  Drinking my energize before doing day 8 (fight club) oh boy. Workout 57/  -- What a workout! Felt crazy strong this morning this morning! While it was a lower body workout, my shoulders are sure feeling it. Used 12s, 15s, and 20s today except for the final 100 second challenge as my shoulders just couldn't do it... so 8lbs it was.

I’ve already shared what a challenge this week was but to end it with my 100th workout and complete one of the longest workout programs I’ve ever done is by far one of the BEST ways to end my week and kick off my weekend! ⁣
.⁣
Through these 100 workouts I learned that I’m much stronger than I ever imagined and the fact that I took on this challenge while single-parenting during our first deployment as a family speaks volumes!! ⁣
.⁣
One of my biggest fears when my husband deployed was how I was going to find time or figure out how I would be able to take care of Avi, hold the fort down and still find time to take care of myself. Saying it out loud made me feel selfish but I also knew how much I needed it during this time in my life.⁣
.⁣
It took me a little bit of time but I figured out what worked for us and I just pushed through it. Now I’ve reached the finish line and I feel so freaking excited and proud! ⁣
.⁣
I’m so proud because I proved to myself I’m capable of something I was sure I could achieve. I knew how bad I wanted it and I was worried about the challenges I would face along the way but I still did it and I achieved it!! ⁣
.⁣
Don’t put off what your heart is tugging at. My heart kept tugging on reaching this goal. Especially on the days when things didn’t go as planned and I had to complete my workouts in the evenings or I had to split them up.⁣
.⁣
My heart knew how much I wanted this and how important it was to me and I just kept going. ⁣
.⁣
This is by far the GREATEST fitness accomplishment I have ever achieved and it means more to me than I can express!!⁣
.⁣
For anyone out there that has a health or fitness goal they want to achieve, GO AFTER IT! You won’t regret it! It won’t be easy. It won’t always go as planned but one thing is for sure, it will always be WORTH IT! ⁣
.⁣
I’m so grateful for this program, the community I surround myself with, the support of my team and my family. The journey would have been so different without them. Quite frankly, I don’t think I would have completed it the way I had planned.⁣

Here’s a personal story about how my silly affirmations actually shifted me towards successful weight loss after months, if not years of trying.

OK, y’all, I’ve been burning the candle at both ends and I’m starting to feel it. I’m tired, my skin has been breaking out more, I’m short- tempered, and despite how hard I’m working, I’m not seeing results like I want to from my fitness and nutrition.

My trainer has given some great tips on how to address all of this. She’s a BOSS BABE! She’s always working. In fact, she just launched a new nutrition program and re-filmed her most popular fitness programs 21 Day Fix & 21 Day Fix EXTREME in real time. She’s always traveling and she’s a single mom. Somehow, she manages to always be on point, & even though she admits when she has hard days, she seems to bounce back quickly.

SOOOOO I’m going to jump on board and devote this next month

I still can’t believe I have a daughter⁣

The older she gets, it is so neat to engage with her and watch her develop into a little person. Grateful that God decided to bless Chris and I with Nichole Christina. She has been a perfect fit just for us  ⁣
.⁣
As a woman, it can be easy to forget what life was like before #momlife. What did we really do with all the time we had?🤣 Still trying to figure that out! But one thing I do remember was that I someone who was considered to be health conscious. I was very passionate about pursuing a healthy lifestyle and my life reflected that in my daily habits. Furthermore, I was passionate about my business goals of building a community of women to support their health and fitness journey. ⁣
.⁣
Post baby that all changed. I lost who I was as a person in that sense. It has been a long postpartum journey to finding myself again. After 18 months, I figured enough was enough. I needed to make the necessary changes to prioritize myself. Why?⁣
.⁣
I am determined not to be the mom who looks their daughter in the eye 18 years from now and say I use to be this person and had all these dreams but because I became a mom, I no longer pursued those things. I gave up on my dreams.⁣
.⁣
No. I want to be the mom who tells their daughter you can accomplish what you heart desires because I did just that. I can always remind her that she is what inspired me to get back on my journey to pursue what is important to me.⁣
. ⁣
The journey has not been easy. One thing I don’t want to sacrifice is my mommy time to pursue my⁣
personal goals so I had to get creative with my schedule. I wake up earlier in the mornings before my daughter wakes and our day starts to get my workouts done. I stay up later at night to work on my business.⁣
.⁣
And as she gets older, I will be more intentional about doing these things in her presence. I want her to see me prioritize myself to let her know that it is okay as a women to pursue her own heart. ⁣
