I've been struggling with a lot of shit lately. I've been so depressed and stressed out from work. Getting to the gym has taken every ounce of my being to get there. I haven't wanted to even get on social media, I haven't ate anywhere near enough to fuel myself, the list of self neglect goes on. Still got it done today though and really trying to get into a better headspace. I really don't want to keep posting these depressing ass posts but I'm not going to fake how I feel. I am usually very good about keeping this shit inside but lately it's just bubbling over.

Hier zu sehen: einer meiner Clienten im @thedudesgym bei einem 3RM mit 110kg. Was daran besonders ist? Vieles. Seit zwei Monaten trainieren wir gemeinsam 2x die Woche im Dudes und sind von 70kgx3 auf 110kgx3 gekommen. Jap, mit 2 Einheiten die Woche. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Was ich damit sagen möchte ist, dass es wirklich keinen Grund gibt, keinen Sport machen zu können. Selbst mit einer so niedrigen Frequenz wie 2x/Woche können immense Resultate erzielt werden, die manch anderer oftmals nicht mal bei 4-6 Einheiten/Woche erzielt. Oft seh ich Leute zurückschrecken, weil sie „Eh nur 1-2x die Woche Zeit hätten“, also wärs ja „unnötig überhaupt anzufangen“. Nein. Volumen und Intensität können immer so angepasst werden, dass man selbst mit 2 Einheiten/Woche Progress machen kann. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ist es jetzt gleich effektiv wie 4-6 Einheiten/Woche? Natürlich nicht. Hier geht es jedoch viel mehr darum, dass man sich an zeitlichen Ressourcen derer anpasst, die ihre Prioriäten woanders haben, jedoch trotzdem Erfolge erzielen wollen. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Hardcore.  Savage.  Two of the most abused and possibly misunderstood gym culture adjectives around. 
While the idea of fancying yourself a fierce, ferocious, and cruel, untamed beast menacing the power rack may seem romantic in a way, I would argue there is a much better outlook.

While you should train with intent, passion and even a level of aggression, I would suggest a mental paradigm shift on what it is to be hardcore and savage would have you reaping far more long term benefits.

Hardcore is never missing a training session, or at least making it up at another time of the week as to not fall behind.

Savage is following a nutrition plan to the letter and resisting the urge to fall off the wagon.

Hardcore is getting to bed at the proper hour that allows you to get enough adequate sleep so you are recovering properly. 
It takes a savage ego, to know when to back off when all you want to do is push forward. 
Something to ponder.

Feels good to see significant changes in speed while training sub-maximally. Lifting super heavy all year round is pretty taxing both physically and mentally.

🦞 The Incline pull down is great because it hits the center of the back right inbetween/just below the shoulder blades in particular , and basically all the other auxiliary muscles in the back. In this variation you will feel muscles working that you didn't know you had  It's a good way to isolate a lat pull down while involving some different muscles. Exercise credit to my guy @arthurtwonzarelli ..

🦞 This superset I just threw together with the first exercise I got from @ryan_spiteri which is  an incline cable pullover and then the straight arm push down. These are both great exercises for getting a good stretch and pumping blood, defining and getting thickness/widening the lats. ..

Я же сегодня отхватила нехилую дозу комплиментов, думала скромненько потренируюсь, постою в уголке но мои девчата @ и ребята @tokarevalexteam кстати тоже️встретили меня с такой неподдельной радостью и интересом Сказали вот она настоящая фитоняшка🦄 Натуська даже за потрогалапроверила так сказать методом пальпации... Резюмировала, что все отлично, нигде ничего не обвисло, все торчком

3. Армейский жим с груди стоя 2*15

4. Мертвая тяга с гантелями 2*20
5. Жим гантелей сидя 2*20
