This is so true for me! I take the decision out of working out/not working out by just doing it first thing all week. Nothing has gone wrong in the day yet to derail me or make me think I’m too tired/too busy/got a better offer  Monday - Friday my alarm goes off at 5am, in the car at 5.15, at the gym at 5.20, home again to get ready for work at 6.15. I woke up early for my run in the rain and then went to Taichung to enjoy the rest of my holiday with my boyfriend and my best friend. We had a wonderful bike ride in the woods, chatting and laughing along the way. The cool autumn winds made our ride so comfortable.

跑完立馬到台中玩耍:泓品牛排、潭雅神自行車道、溫馨聊天和菜晚餐、嘉家綠豆湯大王、羅拉典藏蛋糕、市民廣場賞月瘋狂聊天....超級開心的一天!感謝男友家人還有箏箏的陪伴
下午傍晚騎車涼爽好舒服,第一次騎潭雅神綠色隧道,邊吹著涼爽的秋風邊悠閒地聊著天一整個心曠神怡呀!最喜歡每次晚上吃著羅拉起司蛋糕在市民廣場草地旁野餐看夜景聊天,好幸運今天月亮又大又圓珍惜這種無拘無束和朋友天南地北聊天的小確幸
23000多步成就達成!
每次來台中都愛上這兒熱鬧繁華卻同時讓人感到悠閒愜意的氣氛!
這個中秋節能跟愛的人聚在一起真的是太幸福太開心了

Day 10 Post Op...

Had a massive bloat after eating Chinese but it was bloody worth it. Besides, it always disappears by morning! I'm actually amazed I've managed to stay (fairly) lean so far, but nowhere near where I'd like to be. Starting to feel a little more normal now, as nearly all daily activities can be done. (No more pain thank god!) Finally managed to sleep on my side which felt AMAZING! -
Once my drain is out, I won't be as limited and can do one really long walk rather than a few shorter ones. Just got to wait until Wednesday to know when I can go back to work and the gym. -

The Single Arm KB Squat Clean to Rotational Press is an excellent full body unilateral movement that builds full body strength and stability. 
Loading the body on one side forces the opposite side of the body to work even harder to maintain proper posture and alignment though the squat and pressing patterns. 
This is a great way to build functional muscle, build balance throughout the body and get that heart rate flying.

Beim Krafttraining ist das vorherrschende Thema die Muskulatur. 
Das primäre Ziel vieler liegt im Muskelaufbau oder dem Erreichen eines athletischen Looks. 
Zugegebenermaßen wirkt sich das Krafttraining hierbei positiv aus. Das habe Ich bereits thematisiert! 
Doch der menschliche Organismus besteht nicht rein aus Muskulatur-auch wenn das so manch Zeitgenosse glaubt und verkörpern möchte. 
Deine Physiologie setzt sich aus einer Vielzahl an Geweben zusammen, die alle unterschiedlich aufgebaut sind und diverse Aufgaben im Kontext des großen Ganzen vollbringen! 
Hierzu zählen: das Nervensystem, die Knochen, Sehnen & Bänder und das Bindegewebe (auch als Modebegriff Fasziengewebe bekannt). Sämtliche Gewebearten erfahren beim intensiven Krafttraining einen Anpassungsreiz, da sie ja in die Bewegung und die Bewältigung der Aufgabe involviert sind und unterstützen. 
Das Nervensystem setzt in korrekter Frequenz und Sequenz die notwendige Muskulatur in Gang, die Sehnen übertragen den Impuls auf die Knochen, wodurch Gelenke bewegt werden, Bänder und Bindegewebe dämpfen und leiten Kräfte ab und weiter. 
Erst das Zusammenspiel aller Bestandteile erlaubt Dir schwere Gewichte in der tiefen Kniebeuge empor zu bewegen.

Knowledge translation is a slippery business and something we don't really know much about. But beliefs are even more complex.

Beliefs are more tightly held, more irrational and often entirely unrelated to facts. And changing them is really, really complex.

We just don't have this much work in the realm of pain research yet.

So, this is not to say what we've been doing doesn't work, it's just that we don't know. We need to put what we've been doing up against rigorous scientific questioning and see what comes out.

In the darkness of the early morning I bring you one of my favorite ways to stop knee clicking. I set up a large kettlebell and start searching for knots throughout the quad.  Once I find a substantial one I’ll work knee flexion until I feel good. It’s more intense than a foam roller and can pinpoint a spot better.

I was up at 6.45 (so before the sun actually 🤪), and I’m  r e a l l y  not a morning person...  But my mother in law said she could watch Sofia, and I needed to get out before she’d wake up. If she sees me, she’ll throw a fit when I leave, and all hell is loose 🤣 Had it been up to her she’d be with me 24/7 ️ She’s a mummy’s girl, what can I say 🤷‍️

We all need to make adjustments in our lives to be able to work out or eat healthy. Whether it’s getting up earlier, changing work hours, doing less around the house, asking friends and family for help or whatever works for YOU! Do what you need to make it a priority  • • •
Easier said than done, I know... It took me 5 years to get started again after I got pregnant. So I actually do know what I’m talking about 🤪 I hope you find some kind of inspiration and motivation in my posts and stories to get started or keep going! ️

Day 75 SEVENTY FIVE DAYS NON STOP  let's get started with ABS  Cable twists 
I decided to start something new today. Attended my first yoga session, it was great experience, it shows me some of my core strength and shown me some of my weaknesses. Give it a try yoga is good stuff. And then started my ABS training. 
At beginning the forms r not correct some we can and some we cannot do. Just keep trying one day this will be your warmup. 
Complete ABS WORKOUT.

Side hip raises both sides

Has your lifting plateaued?⠀
.⠀
A big reason why people hit a plateau and stop progressing with their training performance is due to a lack of planning ahead and direction with programming (or not following a program at all)⠀
.⠀
Periodisation is simply the term for a strategy where you manipulate your program (exercises,reps, sets, rest) over time in order to allow continued progression and avoid burning out ⠀
.⠀
Many people will stick to the same type of rep ranges with their lifting, either always lifting heavy with low reps - which will eventually lead to injury due to constant heavy load through joints ⠀
.⠀
Or always higher reps ie. 10-15 reps, which means they’re muscles are never challenged with heavier loads which is leaving a lot of strength and muscle gains on the table ⠀
.⠀
Sticking to any certain rep range means you fail to get the benefits of both low rep heavy work, and higher rep lighter work. And also increase the chances of plateauing, or burning out and getting injured⠀
.⠀
Enter periodisation. There are numerous ways to go about this, but the most common and straight forward method is linear periodisation where you start with higher reps and lighter loads, and gradually reduce reps and increase load over time⠀
.⠀
The example I’ve shown here is for building up someone’s back squat. Each program phase goes for 4 weeks, and is then progressed and builds into the following one⠀
.⠀
Here you intelligently allow your body to handle heavier loads gradually over time, starting with higher reps and lighter loads, and progressing to the last phase which allows you to hit heavy doubles ⠀
.⠀
I like to use a strategy along these lines for building up a particular main lift, after this you’d take a week to deload (less sets and load) to recover, then rinse and repeat with a similar strategy but could focus on another main lift such as the front squat ⠀
.⠀
The set and rep schemes I’ve provided are simply examples, there are endless ways you can structure this but the main thing is that by planning ahead, and manipulating things in an intelligent manor you can get far greater results and avoid plateauing or injury

 Monday - had a heavy weekend and now motivated AF
•
 Tuesday ️ Thursday - still going strong, hit your calorie targets and trained everyday. You are bossing it.

 Friday - or as I call 'Rewarday'. You have had a fantastic week and then you get a nosebleed and celebrate it with all the calories.
•
 Saturday ️ Sunday - fuck it let's go all out and start again Monday.
•
️ This is a common cycle most people go through because they are looking for that 'perfect week'....
•
There is no such thing as a 'perfect week' and the sooner they realise that the more they can come to terms with one night not spiralling into 4 days....
•
If you get a puncture on 1 tyre to you then go and stab the other 3....? •
No you wouldn't, unless you were a moron. So don't do it with your training and nutrition....
•
Motivation is at it's highest at the starting point of a training program or off the back of some 'time out'....
•
And I shit you not it will fade quick. You just need to realise that you just have to get it done....
•
Fat loss doesn't make exceptions for a bad day at work or being tired....
•
